Over 190 contemporary artists, designers, curators, and writers appear in this anthology. MD72 was established by Alexander Schröder – known both as a gallerist and a collector. Events there reflected the legacies of context art and post-institutional critique, of Berlin’s cultural conditions after German reunification as broader debates informed by postfeminism, postcolonial thought and queer strategies came to the fore.
