Produced on the occasion of Bik van der Pol’s workshop You Talking To Me? At 98 Weeks, Beirut, 12–18 October, 2012. In this workshop, participants travelled by taxis, talked with drivers, recorded their conversations, and returned with stories which were disseminated by public radio during hours negotiated with a radio station. The taxi was regarded as social place, as carrier and interface of public voice, knowledge/history, often across generations. By choosing the taxi, the project also subtly touched upon two major urban management issues in Beirut: lack of public space (spaces of collectivity) and transportation.

The artist, filmmaker, writer, musician and gay rights activist Derek Jarman (1942–1994) powerfully marked twentieth-century British culture. This exhibition, with some seventy works, highlights his practice as a painter and assemblagist. It focuses on the last part of his life, starting at the time of his HIV-positive diagnosis. This period coincides with the creation of his legendary garden Prospect Cottage in Dungeness, Kent, whose cultivation was both a form of therapy and a metaphor for his own survival.

Co-founder of the Ecart Group (1969) and closely affiliated with the Fluxus movement, visual artist John Armleder has since the end of the 1960’s created a polymorphic body of work which encompasses performance, drawings, sculptures and paintings.

Exhibition guide produced on the occasion of the first institutional solo exhibition in Germany dedicated to Vincent Fecteau, at Fridericianum, Kassel, 3 April–5 September, 2021. Encompassing more than sixty selected works created between 1993 and 2020, the show provided a comprehensive overview of Fecteau’s oeuvre.
