Clairvoyant Journal 1974 by Hannah Weiner (1928–1997) is based on the typescripts Early and Clairvoyant Journals and includes the entries dated February 23 to June 10. This new edition of Clairvoyant Journal features an “Afterword” by Patrick Durgin, which completes his study on Hannah Weiner’s “clair-style” writing (“BIG SENSIBLE, Introductory Remarks on Clairvoyant Journal”) previously published on www.f-u-t-u-r-e.org.

With Clairvoyant Journal, Hannah Weiner writes a specific form of diary, using the characteristics of typographic styles (roman, italic and CAPITAL) to present an inner discussion between three separate voices. Clairvoyant Journal also gives an insight into the daily life of a writer living in New York in the 1970s, evoking a poetic, musical, and artistic scene, yoga and a poetical experience.

Ketty La Rocca (1938–1976) was an important proponent of Conceptual and Body Art in Italy in the 1960s and 70s. Based on a visual poetry, she dealt radically with the sociopolitical limits of the meaning of language and images in her collages, performances and photographs. A central aspect is the examination of the bodily gesture as an “original means of communication”.

Ici Non, Hier Nicht, Not Here is a new publication series of the Kunstverein. The first issue is dedicated to the work of Christopher Knowles.

Ici Non, Hier Nicht, Not Here is an exhibition that uses the ‘paper space’ as an exhibition space. Its name is derived from a series of works by artist Remy Zaugg from 1995. This series consists out of small paintings with scarcely legible words that dialectically refer to the fact that images are physical, found in a specific place, and yet also ubiquitous.

Texts and graphic works by Emmett Williams the American Fluxus artist and poet. With the introduction in the form of a letter to Ann Noel, his wife. The book is divided into four parts: IBM; EGO, HEGO, SHEGO; DIE (DIE) & FETE DUCHAMPETRE, all are multi page flip book-style compositions.

Introverse Arrangements is centred on the work of German artist Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt who, despite only recently garnering attention for her work, is most known for a period of geometric and poetic typewriter drawings produced between the 1970s and 1990 while employed as an administrator for the German Democratic Republic.

Unbidden Tongues is a series edited by Isabelle Sully that focuses on previously produced yet relatively uncirculated work by cultural practitioners busy with questions of civility and civic life—particularly so in relation to language.
